Oak Grove Elementary's attendance for the week ending November 17th was overall 93%. It is slowly improving--way to go! Can we make it to 95% before winter break? 3rd and 4th grade attendance is on the rise. We have lots of learning and some holiday fun planned as well. Let's make every day count, hornets!

Friday, December 1st Wear Red and Green, Thursday December 7th at 8:00 AM: K/1st Grade Parent Meeting and Cocoa, then enjoy your students' performance! Friday, December 8th: Rockin' your Holiday Socks, Picture Retakes, and 1st/2nd grade field trip to The Nutcracker. Thursday, December 14 @ 1:30 Winter Parties. Let your child's teacher know if you can donate or help with the classroom party. Friday, December 15th Tree Topper Day: Wear your Santa hat, antlers, or headband

Oak Grove attendance for the week of Nov. 6-10th was 93.5%! Way to go, Hornet families! Look at kindergarten and 2nd grade with attendance over 96%! Our attendance for the year is moving up--which is good news for our school quality score. Our year to date attendance is 91.4%. Our school goal is 95% for every student, and overall for the year.

REMINDER: Join us for family day lunch on Thursday, November 16. Meals are $5 per adult. The full menu will include: Turkey Roast & Gravy, Cornbread Dressing, Fresh Seasoned Green Beans, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Dinner Roll, Strawberry Cup.
