April is Scottish-American Heritage Month where we celebrate the contributions of Scottish-Americans to our modern society. In 1998, Jason Emory Nickerson designed the Arkansas Traveler Tartan, which is listed on the Scottish Tartans World Register.
Cosmetology students recently completed their annual salon project. These students are given some examples and inspiration to create their salon, barbershop, nail salon, or even an esthetics bar. The goal is create something they want once they obtain their license.

9 PCSSD high school students attended the Little Rock Regional Chamber's Cultivate Women's Business Series - Building Up STEAM. In a world where women have more opportunities than ever before, they remain underrepresented in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM).
