Students in Mr. Hannon's chemistry class had fun experimenting with Charles' Law earlier this week. The students learned how a gas expands as the temperature increases; conversely, a decrease in temperature will lead to a decrease in volume. Great results from the 5A State Wrestling Tournament! This year, we had 4 students place: Jackie Hutchins placed 3rd at 113 pounds. Makenzie Marbray placed 2nd at 130 pounds. Emele Siegfried placed 3rd at 100 pounds. And Adrian York placed 3rd at 155 pounds

Last week, SHHS students competed in the All-Region Coding Competition. During this virtual event, students received an email with links to 8 coding problems to solve in 3 hours. Our teams met in the library to complete as many as possible. Results should be available within a week!
