During Black History Month we are celebrating Black artists who also have an Arkansas connection. Howard Sims, from Fort Smith, was a tap dancer. Sims created unique sounds during performing by using sand on his sandbox, earning him the nickname "Sandman." #pcssdproud #serveall

Congratulations to our SHHS music students who were selected by competitive audition to the Arkansas All-State Music Ensembles. They will attend a conference in Hot Springs Feb. 15 - 17 and perform a concert on Sun., Feb. 17 at the Hot Springs Convention Center. Congrats, Bears!

Schools in the Sylvan Hills feeder pattern have the opportunity to attempt to break a world record this spring! 3rd - 12th graders from the Sylvan Hills feeder pattern are teaming up to take on a challenge like no other - breaking the World's Longest Human Electric Circuit record!

Students in Ms. Henley's Family & Parenting classes wrapped up their Preschool Unit by playing Ships & Sailors, Duck Duck Goose, participating in Show & Tell Day, and reading Children's books to the class! What a fun way to end a unit!
