The Arkansas Center for Health Improvement reports the risk of mental health issues increase for adolescents who spend more than 3 hours a day on social media. ACHI released a video to help parents understand parental controls.

Pre-K has been busy learning AVID strategies. First, they made a one pager as a group for the color red and then students completed a quick draw in their journals of something red.
Next, they finished their study of Who Stole the Cookie from the Cookie Jar with column note taking on how to make cookies. Students helped create the list of ingredients and directions. After creating the list students used it to help make cookie dough. They referred to it as we were adding the ingredients and going step by step. After nap students ate the cookies they made. #pcssdproud #serveall
