AVID students were working on their team work skills and having some fun in class this week. This is the bandana, cup, and marble challenge. In this challenge, a group of students must work together to transport a marble sitting atop a cup (upside down) from point A to point B. It's tough!

PCSO had completed their search at Mills University Studies high school. No weapon was found. We appreciate everyone's patience as we worked to ensure safety of our students and staff today. We will begin with a staggered dismissal.

Parents & staff: we are still on lockdown. PCSO is searching the final classrooms. Dismissal will be delayed about 15 minutes. The basketball game will still be played this evening. Thank you all for your patience and understanding.

Students in Dr. Franco's class celebrated El Día de Muertos (the Day of the Dead) yesterday. This is Mexican holiday where families remember their deceased relatives on November 1 and 2. People usually put altars or offerings and include decorations with objects; displays of the deceased's favorite foods and drinks, as well as ornamental and personal objects, flowers, candles and photographs of their loved ones.
