Mills University Studies High Theater and Dance classes performed for 2nd & 3rd graders from Daisy Bates last week. After the performance, there was a Q&A session and all students were able to get a few pictures.
The Theater I-V class produced and performed Jack Neary's adaptation of Hans Christian Anderson's The Little Match Girl, a story about a girl who even in the bleakest of times has hope and uses her gifts to teach others about "the good stuff." The Technical Theater classes collaborated to design and build the set, chose costumes and designed elements of lights and sound for the show. The dance classes performed "Sleigh Bells" and "Here Comes Santa Claus."
