School may have ended last week, but it's never too late to give shout outs to our educators. This one goes out to our teacher librarians who handled the demanding task of chromebook returns during the last week of school! THANK YOU! #pcssdproud #equityandexcellence

June is Pride Month. Pride Month began as protests by LGBTQ people to confront discrimination in the fight for equality in the 1970s. Pride Month is an opportunity to show support and raise awareness about LGBTQ+ rights.

We made it! Congratulations to students and staff - today is the last day of school. Who is ready for summer?

The Mills University Studies High School staff participated in the Biggest Loser for the past few years after being inspired by JC Comet and his wife Becky. Last year, the staff had a close run at it. Thanks to Nurse Malinda Berthia who always shares medical and health news with us all. In addition, happy Nurse's Appreciation Week. Last year Ms. Vickie Jackson and Ms. Treniece Clemmons ran away with the challenge. Ms. Clemmons was the outright winner by less than a pound, but today both are still going strong. Do not forget Mrs. Andrea Johnson, vice principal and many others who are on the journey to wellness. Great job everyone!

Theatre students at MILLS UNIVERSITY STUDIES HIGH participated in a virtual ballet class with Ballet Arkansas's Deanna Stanton. Thank you Ms. Stanton and Ballet Arkansas! #pcssdproud #equityandexcellence
