Students in Ms. Hemphill’s 6th-grade ELA class recently took a creative & delicious approach to argumentative writing. The class explored the art of persuasion by debating the ultimate breakfast battle: Pancakes vs. Waffles. Students crafted detailed arguments for their preferred breakfast choice, learning to structure essays with strong introductions, solid reasoning, evidence and rebuttals
