PULASKI COUNTY, Ark. -- The Pulaski County Special School District is proud to announce that Joe T. Robinson Middle School is a 2021-2022 National Beta School of Merit.
The National Beta School of Merit award is given to honor a club’s dedication and commitment to academic excellence. To achieve this prestigious honor, a school must include members from all eligible grade levels in their Beta club.
“I am incredibly proud of our RMS Beta Club members,” said Dawn Irby. “The academic excellence that they have achieved, especially during a pandemic, is amazing.”
In a congratulatory letter to the school, Bobby Hart, CEO said “Thank you for your continued support of National Beta and commitment to developing future leaders!”
“To be a National Beta Club School of Merit is proof that their hard work is being noticed and rewarded,” Irby added. “More than their grades, these students are service-minded, especially in regards to their fellow students. Beta Club requires academic and citizenship excellence, and these students are truly deserving of this honor.”
This year, only 3,380 Beta Clubs across the country received this award.
