PULASKI COUNTY, Ark. -- Senior students at Joe T. Robinson High have a new opportunity to receive extra funding to go toward college in Arkansas.
The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff has awarded $20,000 in scholarships to the Robinson High School Counselors to present to well-deserving seniors who will attend UAPB in the Fall.
“"It means so much to me because more of our students will have the opportunity to attend a university especially when money is not always available for our low income families during this current pandemic and inflation crisis, with help from the UAPB scholarships many more will have the opportunity to be a part of the PRIDE,” said Counselor Candice Young.
The announcement was made at UAPB’s Counselor Appreciation Luncheon on Monday, February 7, 2022.
