Our Stingers in Spanish class are getting ready for Christmas! They enjoyed hitting the piñata, singing, and carrying the peregrinos. They also learned about the cultural history of the Christmas piñata.

The Christmas piñata is a long-standing tradition in Mexico and other Latin American countries. It originated from a blend of Indigenous and European celebrations and has become a symbol of community, celebration, and togetherness during the holiday season. Today, piñatas are enjoyed around the world as part of festive gatherings. They bring people together, encourage teamwork, and add joy and fun to holiday celebrations.
