PULASKI COUNTY, Ark. -- The Little Rock Zoo is opening their Zoofari Virtual Winter Break Camp this December so that students can continue learning while away from school for a couple of weeks.
Fun daily themes are available on December 21, 22, 29, 30, 31 and January 4 from 9:30-11:30 a.m. Students can join just one day or all of them.
Activities include guided tours of zoo exhibits, up-close animal encounters, and more! Special “no-screen time” activities will also be provided for campers to do on their own time.
The camp will provide small class size so that the group can talk to one another and have the chance to interact with zoo staff.
Registration lets one camper attend or the whole household (adults too!). Scholarships are available for any child 5-10 years of age in Arkansas that participated (or are participating) in the National School Lunch Program (free/reduced meals) during the current school year (2020-2021).
