We're recognizing our school board members this month with a throwback to their high school days. Next up, Shelby Thomas, board member for zone 4. Thomas graduated from Jacksonville in 1989 and was a 3 year letterman in football. Thomas also was a member of the choir and is the "OG" board member serving since the advisory board days. #pcssdproud #serveall

Good Afternoon, please remember that K-2 will finish up NWEA Map Winter Interim testing tomorrow with their Math test. Please review our testing expectations with your champion and be sure they make it to school on time. We still have a perfect attendance incentive going.

Keller graduated from American International School of Johannesburg (Johannesburg, Gauteng Province, South Africa) in 1996 for 11th & 12th grade. Prior to that he attended Bishop Mackenzie School (Lilongwe, Malawi) for 9th & 10th grade. He played rugby, track (1600m, 800m), basketball, soccer, & volleyball in high school. Tomorrow is make-up picture day for students who were absent the first time around. Pictures will begin at 8am and should wrap up quickly because there are not many students who missed.

Tomorrow is NWEA Map testing for K-2. Please encourage your champion to be an All-Star on testing and review our testing expectations with them beforehand.


The Yearbook Cover Design Contest deadline has now been extended to January 31, 2024.


Reminder: This year's yearbook is shaping up to be the best one yet! We need your help to design the cover! The Yearbook Cover Design Contest ends January 5 and is open to all CSES students Pre-K through 5th grade. Get your designs submitted, on an 8.5" x 11" sheet of paper to Mrs. Tull by January 5, 2024.
