Starting tomorrow, our schools and district office are officially on winter break until the new year. District offices will reopen January 2, 2025. In science last week, students used evidence they observed with their naked eye and under a microscope to try to answer the question "Is moss a plant?" Ask your 5th grade what evidence they observed and what conclusion that supported.

Today marks the 83rd anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor. PCSSD families can observe National Pearl Harbor Day of Remembrance by visiting the Arkansas Inland Maritime Museum & touring the USS Hoga, 1 of 3 vessels from the attack that is now a museum! #pcssdproud #serveall

Due to scheduling conflicts this year our Holiday Concert will not be held at Robinson Middle School. Mrs. Campbell has constructed a schedule for every grade level and the performances will be held here at Baker Elementary. The schedule is as follows (see below). We apologize for any inconvenience and we are hopeful that your schedules will permit you to join us on your child's grade level day.

Last month, Baker kicked off its "Grit and Fit Challenge" as part of our Wellness Plan for this school year. Students and staff gathered outside and took part in various fun, fitness activities. We are so thankful to have Baker parents, Dustin and Carly Moseley, lead us in this kickoff event. Our goal is continue show fitness as FUN and celebrate individual fitness improvement throughout the year.
